Lot 555: A Collection of Floral and Imari Style Ceramic Tableware
A group of ceramic tableware comprising a partial tea service and Imari-patterned items. The tea service pieces are decorated with a delicate transfer-printed border of pink roses and light blue and green foliage, finished with silver-tone rims on a white porcelain ground. The group includes circular side plates, saucers, and footed teacups with looped handles. Also included are two items decorated in a traditional Imari palette of cobalt blue, iron red, and gilding, featuring floral and foliate motifs. These consist of a bulbous two-handled sucrier with a fitted lid on a footed base, and a small hemispherical bowl. No printed marks, backstamps, or labels are visible on the items in the provided images.
