Lot 653: A Trio of Distressed Painted Composite Duck Figures
A trio of distressed painted composite duck figures, cast in stylized poses with elongated necks and flat webbed feet. Each figure is finished in a heavily distressed paint style, incorporating intentional scuffing and surface wear to create an aged, rustic appearance. The set comprises one duck in a pale blue tone and two ducks in cream and yellow tones. Two of the figures feature simple gold-coloured neck ribbons, while the third is adorned with an ornate ruffled lace fabric collar and a gold-coloured bow. The items are produced from a cast resin or composite material, resulting in a uniform surface texture with integral casting of the bodies and feet. There are no maker’s marks, signatures, or factory stamps visible on the exterior surfaces of the figures.
