A set of porcelain demitasse cups and matching saucers, featuring a vibrant harlequin palette of solid-colour glazes. The set includes cups and saucers in red, purple, navy blue, and light steel blue. Each cup is designed with a tapered cylindrical form and a simple loop handle, paired with a matching circular saucer. The exterior surfaces of both pieces are finished in a saturated gloss glaze, while the cup interiors and the central wells of the saucers are finished in a contrasting plain white glaze. The rims of the cups and saucers are embellished with gilt bands, and the handles are entirely finished in a gold-toned gilding.
