Lot 924: A late 20th-century Victorian-revival mahogany-stained dining suite comprising a pedestal dining table and a set of matching chairs
A late 20th-century dining suite in a Victorian-revival style, comprising a mahogany-stained pedestal dining table and a set of matching chairs. The table features a circular top supported by a base with four turned legs. The chairs are designed with arched, open backs containing three vertical splats, standing on turned front legs and slightly splayed rear legs. The padded seats are upholstered in a light-coloured fabric with a small-scale geometric diamond pattern. The wood finish is a deep reddish-brown colour throughout. A handwritten manila tag attached to one chair is inscribed £360. Other tags are present on the furniture but are not clearly legible. No maker’s marks or stamps are visible on the exterior surfaces.
