A collection of UK cupro-nickel crown-sized coins, including issues for the 1972 Silver Wedding Anniversary and the 1977 Silver Jubilee. The 1972 commemorative coins feature an obverse design with a crowned monogram of the letters E and P, surrounded by the inscription ELIZABETH AND PHILIP 20 NOVEMBER 1947-1972. The reverse of these pieces depicts the profile portraits of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip. The 1977 crowns feature an obverse design of the Queen on horseback with the circumscription ELIZABETH II DG REG FD 1977. Each coin is housed in individual blue or pink soft plastic presentation pouches. The coins display a bright metallic luster throughout. Each coin pouch bears a white adhesive paper label with the handwritten number 9249 in green ink.
