Not sold

A vintage resin table lamp featuring a figural base in the Chinoiserie fashion. The base is cast from off-white resin and depicts a smiling immortal or fisherman figure, possibly an representation of a Chinese deity, standing in flowing robes with a wide-brimmed hat slung over the shoulder and holding a large fish. The piece is fitted with an aged brass B22 bayonet-style lamp holder and a white PVC-sheathed power cord. A white paper label is attached to the base, hand-written in black ink with the text VENDOR 1924 VINTAGE PLASTER LAMP. This label appears to be a vendor’s descriptive note rather than an original manufacturer’s mark. The lamp is sold for decorative purposes only and must be professionally rewired and safety tested before use.
