A reconstituted stone wall plaque depicting a lady’s face in profile, executed in an Art Nouveau style. The piece is cast from composite concrete or masonry, featuring a heavily textured, porous surface. The female figure is shown with flowing, organic tresses of hair that sweep around the face, integrated with large floral motifs, including a prominent flower positioned near the crown. The casting shows a high degree of relief, creating deep shadows within the undulating lines of the hair. The reverse is flat for wall mounting. A white adhesive auction label is present on the surface, printed with the text HCP Auctions South West and Lot 142. A pink adhesive note is also attached, bearing the handwritten inscription 9622 – Lady face R.£5.
