Lot 511: A Collection of Luminarc La Cave and Cut Pattern Glass Champagne Stemware
Not sold
A collection of clear glass champagne stemware, featuring a boxed set of six flutes and various loose drinking glasses. The boxed set is identified by its original packaging as being from the La Cave range by Luminarc, a French manufacturer. These flutes feature a slender, tapered bowl on a simple stemmed foot. The packaging bears the printed manufacturer’s name “Luminarc” in white on a blue circular ground, along with “MADE IN FRANCE”, “6 PIECES”, and “16 cl = 5 1/4 oz.”. The collection also includes several loose champagne flutes with deep vertical wedge-cut decoration to the lower half of the bowl and faceted stems. Additionally, there are multiple champagne coupes or sherbet glasses featuring a moulded pattern of vertical ribbing and a horizontal band, supported by short multi-faceted stems on circular bases.
