Start price: £3

Estimated price: £3 - £5

Buyer's Premium: 20%

A Denby enameled cast iron shallow casserole dish of circular form, finished in a glossy black exterior enamel. The vessel features two integrated loop handles to the sides and a matching domed lid. The interior is finished in a cream-toned enamel. The lid is fitted with a brushed metal circular knob finial, which bears a laser-etched or engraved maker’s name reading ‘Denby’. A partial white paper adhesive label residue is present on the top of the metal knob, partially obscuring the maker’s mark. Two small pink circular adhesive price or inventory stickers are adhered to the lid, each bearing a handwritten number ’32’.
