Lot 837: Mid-century side table with wood veneer top and wrought iron base
A mid-20th-century side table, likely of British manufacture. The table features a square top with a teak or mahogany-toned wood veneer and slightly bevelled edges. The top is supported by a black-painted wrought iron X-frame base. The four legs terminate in decorative outward-facing scrolls. No maker’s marks or manufacturer labels are visible on the piece. A paper lot tag for Liskeard Auction Rooms is present on the top surface.
Condition report:
The item is in used condition. The wooden top shows several surface scratches, scuffs, and some clouding and faint ring marks to the finish. The metal base is functional and stable but shows some minor wear to the paint.
