Lot 941: Traditional Mahogany Finished Coffee Table with Central Drawer and Lower Shelf
A mid-to-late 20th-century coffee table of traditional design, featuring a mahogany-finished wood and veneer construction. The rectangular top is designed with rounded corners, a moulded edge, and cross-banded veneer borders. Below the top is a full-width lower shelf housing a central single drawer. The drawer front is panelled and fitted with a brass-effect swing handle. The structure is supported by four legs with rounded outer edges. No maker marks were identified during inspection.
Condition report:
The table is in fair to good condition. The top surface and edges exhibit visible scratches and minor scuffs consistent with age and use. A faint circular ring mark is present on the top surface. The brass-effect drawer handle shows signs of age-related tarnishing.
