A pair of vintage bib-and-brace ski trousers, or salopettes, by Champion Sport, likely dating from the late 1980s or early 1990s. The garment is constructed with a black synthetic shell featuring a characteristic crinkled texture and is padded for insulation. The design includes a high-waisted bib section in a contrasting purple fabric, which carries a rectangular woven label reading CHAMPION SPORT skiwear in red and black lettering. The trousers feature adjustable black webbing shoulder straps with plastic slide buckles. The waistband is elasticated at the sides for fit and has a front zippered fly secured with two silver-tone metal snap fasteners. Two zippered hand pockets are located at the hips.
