Lot 326: A Collection of Decorative Ceramics and Household Kitchenwares
This lot comprises an assortment of ceramic tableware and domestic items. Included are two porcelain plates featuring reticulated or pierced borders with scalloped, gilt-edged rims; one is decorated with a transfer-printed floral centre and the other with a still life of fruit. The collection also features a variety of decorative serving dishes, including an oval earthenware dish with a hand-painted floral motif and a yellow-lobed rim, a fluted plate with floral sprigs, and a plate with a wide floral border in blue and orange tones. Notably, there is a decorative ceramic plate with high-relief, embossed floral designs in vibrant colours on a textured cream ground. Contained within a box are several plain white utility plates, some with blue-banded borders, and a rectangular serving dish. Accompanying the ceramics is a modern electric food processor or juicer with a white base and purple-tinted plastic components, a circular metal wire cooling rack, and a small metal-framed decorative lantern. No maker’s marks are visible in the provided images.
Condition report:
The items appear to be in used condition. No significant chips or cracks are immediately visible on the primary decorative pieces. General surface wear, minor scratches, and age-related crazing should be expected throughout the lot. The electrical appliance is untested and sold as seen.
