A modern machine-made area rug featuring a contemporary abstract design. The pattern comprises a large, sweeping curved band in dark blue or charcoal grey set against a light grey and beige field. It is constructed with a short, dense pile of synthetic fibres, which provides a uniform texture and sheen. The edges are machine-serged, and the reverse displays a secondary grid-patterned backing characteristic of modern industrial manufacturing. The item bears a lot tag for HCP Auctions South West and is currently rolled and secured with green twine.
