Lot 435: A Collection of Six Porcelain Figurines
A collection of six cold-painted bisque porcelain figurines, produced in a style attributed to makers such as Homco or Lefton. The assortment includes a larger figure representing a seated elderly woman wearing a lilac blouse and cream shawl, holding a piece of fruit. The collection also comprises five smaller figurines of children in various traditional costumes: a girl in a green coat and bonnet carrying a basket; a boy wearing a yellow cap and a blue checkered shirt; a girl in a blue dress and a large floral hat; a boy in a straw hat; and a girl in a white bonnet. Each figurine is mounted on an integral base. No manufacturer marks or backstamps are visible on the exterior surfaces of the pieces.
