Lot 166: A Collection of Silver Jewellery Including a Victorian Name Brooch, Lockets, and a Bangle
A collection of silver jewellery featuring a variety of pieces. The group includes a sterling silver Victorian name brooch embossed with the name LAURA on the front amidst chased floral details. The reverse of the brooch displays Birmingham hallmarks, including a lion passant, anchor, and a lowercase gothic letter b, alongside the maker’s mark A W. Also included is an oval locket marked on the interior rim with a 925 stamp. A heart-shaped locket with a gilt finish is engraved on the reverse with the inscription There’s not a Mummy in the World more special than You, opening to reveal two compartments lined with red fabric. Completing the collection is an adjustable baby bangle decorated with a chased pattern on the exterior and stamped SILVER on the interior.
