Lot 942: A Collection of Framed North Hertfordshire Prints and a Hitchin and District Schools Sports Association Certificate
A collection of framed items relating to the local history of North Hertfordshire. The grouping includes a large framed certificate for the Hitchin and District Schools Sports Association, designed with an ornate architectural border and a central heraldic shield. The printed text includes the titles Hitchin and District, Schools Sports Association, Year Annual Meeting, and Held At. Also included is an assortment of smaller framed prints, primarily consisting of nineteenth and early twentieth-century architectural engravings and landscape subjects. One print depicts a classical estate building. The majority of the items are housed in uniform black wooden frames with thin gilt-effect inner slips.
