Lot 585: A Group of Royal Worcester Herbs Pattern Porcelain Tableware and Decorative Items
This group of items comprises a selection of Royal Worcester fine porcelain tableware in the Herbs pattern, manufactured in England. The pieces feature transfer-printed botanical studies including Sage (Salvia officinalis), Rosemary (Rosmarinus officinalis), and Black Mustard (Brassica nigra), each accompanied by a butterfly motif. The items are finished with a continuous border of mixed flowers and herbs and a green line to the rim. The reverse of the porcelain bears the official Royal Worcester brown backstamp with a 1990 copyright date. The group also includes a pair of circular wall plaques with high-relief moulded scenes of young girls in domestic settings, hand-painted in a pastel palette. Additionally, there is a small blue glass figurine of a biplane with yellow and red accents.
