Lot 713: A Set of Chinese Wan Shou Wu Jiang Pattern Porcelain Tableware
A set of Chinese porcelain tableware decorated in the Wan Shou Wu Jiang (Longevity without Limit) pattern, comprising three bowls, five spoons, and three chopstick rests. Each piece is decorated in famille rose enamels against a vibrant magenta ground, featuring scrolling foliate and lotus motifs interspersed with circular medallions containing the Chinese character 壽 (Shou), representing longevity. The bowls are finished with a yellow and blue geometric Greek key border at the rim, with plain white glazed interiors. The spoons include a central red circular mark containing the Shou character. A handwritten price sticker is present on one spoon and an auction lot tag is attached to the group.
