Lot 192: A Trio of Vintage Steel and Wood Garden Tools including a B&Q Rake
A trio of vintage steel and wood garden tools, comprising a long-handled garden rake, a digging spade, and a border spade. The garden rake features a multi-tine steel head mounted on a natural wooden shaft with a green plastic end-grip. It retains a green adhesive retail label printed with the B&Q logo and the text Garden Rake. The larger digging spade is constructed with a green plastic D-grip handle and a matching green plastic sleeve over the upper portion of the shaft, which terminates in a broad rectangular steel blade. The smaller border spade has a black plastic D-handle and a wooden shaft, bearing an adhesive label printed with the words ECONOMY BORDER SPADE in capitalised letters. All metal components exhibit extensive surface rust and oxidation.
