Lot 995: A Collection of Four Vintage Fujifilm Kodak and Bell & Howell Cameras
A collection of four vintage composite Fujifilm, Kodak, and Bell & Howell cameras, comprising three digital models and one vintage cine camera. The group includes a black Fujifilm FinePix S bridge camera, marked as having a 12-megapixel sensor and a Fujinon 15x optical zoom lens, featuring a textured rubberised grip and a woven neck strap. A silver-finished Kodak EasyShare bridge camera is equipped with a Schneider-Kreuznach Variogon lens and includes a branded Kodak DX lens cap. The digital selection is completed by a silver Praktica DC 440 compact camera with a yellow wrist strap. Also present is a vintage Bell & Howell pistol-grip cine camera constructed from a black textured composite, with script markings to the lens and a film door sticker reading OPEN. The Kodak unit retains a white paper label for HCP Auctions South West Lot 995.
Condition report:
The four cameras show signs of handling wear including surface dust and light scuffs (photo 1). The Fujinon lens optics appear clear with some light surface dust present (photo 2). The silver-finished Kodak and Praktica bodies exhibit minor surface scuffing (photo 4). The Bell & Howell cine camera shows general vintage wear and dust to the textured body (photo 3). All electronic and mechanical functions remain untested.
