A collection of vintage and antique decorative smallwares including a Laguna Taller de Taracea marquetry box, an abstract soapstone sculpture, a metal trinket box, and glass apothecary bottles. The rectangular wooden trinket box is decorated with intricate geometric taracea inlay to the lid and sides in the Spanish tradition, featuring contrasting wood tones and a red fabric-lined interior. The base of the box bears a rectangular gold foil adhesive label printed with RECUERDO DE GRANADA * HECHO A MANO * Laguna TALLER DE TARACEA REAL DE LA ALHAMBRA, 30 18009 GRANADA – ESPAÑA TL 22 90 19. A partial white adhesive price sticker is present over the label reading EUR 4.70. The soapstone sculpture is carved from mottled blue and grey stone, depicting three interlocking abstract humanoid figures on a rectangular base. The metal trinket box features a hinged lid decorated in high relief with a traditional dragon amongst clouds. The glass items consist of an antique rectangular aqua-coloured bottle embossed with KAY’S COMPOUND ESSENCE OF LINSEED and a smaller clear glass vial.
