Lot 1169: A Vintage Gilt Framed Bevelled Edge Wall Mirror
A vintage gilt framed bevelled edge wall mirror of rectangular form. The decorative frame is finished with a metallic gilt over a moulded base, featuring a central fluted convex band bordered by beaded and rope-twist pattern mouldings. The clear mirror plate is finished with a crisp bevelled edge. A white adhesive paper label is applied to the centre of the glass, bearing the handwritten text 2393 GILT FRAMED BEVELLED EDGE MIRROR. 1130 x 870 mm RESERVE £30. No further maker’s marks or stamps are visible. This lot includes the wall mirror only; the plants shown in the background are not included. Measurements are recorded from the label attached to the mirror plate.

Condition report:
The mirror is in good condition overall. The frame displays minor surface wear and small handling marks consistent with its vintage (photo 2). The bevelled mirror glass is clear and free from visible foxing, silvering loss, or significant scratches. A light accumulation of surface dust is present.
