Lot 872: A Vintage Rovex Lure Pro 7' Quad Spinning Rod and Accessory Bag
A vintage Rovex Lure Pro 7′ Quad spinning rod and folding accessory bag. The lot features a four-piece travel lure rod housed within its original black synthetic fabric-covered rigid protective tube. The case is designed with a zip-top closure and an integrated carrying strap, featuring printed white specifications reading ROVEX LURE PRO 7′ Quad Cast WT: 20-40gm 17I09. Included with the rod is a separate black synthetic drawstring bag containing a bank-side accessory, possibly a folding tripod or rod rest. The accessory bag is secured with drawstrings and bears a small white manufacturer’s tag with illegible text. The items are marked with two white adhesive auction labels reading Lot 872 and Lot 871. A pink circular sticker reading 32 is present on the wicker support beneath the rod case.
Condition report:
The protective rod tube shows light surface dust and general signs of handling wear (photo 1). The zip-top closure is currently unzipped (photo 1). The internal rod sections have not been removed for individual inspection. The accessory bag exhibits light surface creases and wear consistent with previous use and storage (photo 1).
