Lot 246: A Pair of Weathered Reconstituted Stone Garden Planters
A pair of weathered reconstituted stone garden planters of rectangular form. Each planter is cast with a rustic dry stone wall effect to the exterior faces, simulating the appearance of natural stacked masonry. A simplified decorative motif, appearing as a foliate scroll or stylised lion mask, is moulded into one corner of each vessel. The items are constructed from reconstituted stone with a coarse, textured finish, and the interiors feature a single circular drainage hole located in the centre of the base. No maker’s marks or factory signatures are present on either piece.
