Buyer's Premium:

An English cast brass assortment of three miniature domestic novelties. The collection includes a scale model of a charcoal-heated box iron, featuring a hinged lid with a latch, an S-scroll handle, and decorative pierced foliate scrollwork to the side panels. This is accompanied by a triangular cast brass trivet, designed with matching pierced foliate scroll decoration and raised on three small feet. The trivet handle features a circular thumb hole and bears a relief-cast mark on the crossbar reading MADE IN ENGLAND. The final piece is a cast brass figure of a standing horse harnessed to a two-wheeled rectangular cart by fixed shafts. All components show a heavy green verdigris surface finish throughout.

Horse and cart: 100mm length. Trivet: 90mm length. Iron: 55mm length. Combined weight under 0.5kg.
