Buyer's Premium:

A pair of vintage MRH S LTD ceramic Miss Sunshine money boxes from the 1990s period. Each figurine is modelled as the character Miss Sunshine from the Mr. Men and Little Miss book series by Roger Hargreaves, featuring a round yellow body and blonde pigtails tied with red bows. The figures are supported by integral circular red bases. The front edge of each red base is printed with the name MISS SUNSHINE in white block lettering. Both money boxes feature a coin slot in the reverse of the character’s head and retain their original white plastic twist-to-open stoppers in the base. The underside of each figurine features an embossed copyright mark under the yellow glaze reading © 1997 M R H S L T D. The glazed finish is consistent across both pieces, with hand-painted facial features and red bow details.
