Buyer's Premium:

A trio of British glazed earthenware bowls of circular form with slightly flared rims featuring a relief-moulded leaf border. The interior of each bowl is decorated with a polychrome transfer-printed botanical motif: one depicting white roses, another with pink and purple sweet peas, and the third featuring a cluster of blue hydrangeas. Each central floral motif is accompanied by small transfer-printed illustrations of butterflies and insects. The exterior of the bowls is further decorated with smaller floral sprays and identified with the rose variety names Warm Wishes and Polar Star. The base of at least one bowl bears a printed mark in green and black comprising a dotted oval containing the word PORTMEIRION above the text botanic roses and the date 2004. A central crest contains the text MADE IN BRITAIN, with care instructions dishwasher microwave & freezer safe and the website www.portmeirion.com printed below. The interior motifs are identified with printed text as Polar Star, Lathyrus Odoratus, and Hydrangea Macrophylla respectively.
