A Late Victorian Hubbard oil on canvas depicting a ‘Pirate Ship’ and six poppy pictures, including works by Del Little and W. Burgess. The primary maritime work shows a multi-masted sailing vessel under full sail on a blue sea, signed ‘HUBBARD’ vertically to the upper right edge. An adhesive paper label to the left margin is handwritten with the text ‘Original Painting on Canvas of a Pirate Ship 1893’. The canvas remains unframed with visible white margins and remnants of adhesive tape to the corners. The collection of floral artworks comprises six assorted pieces including a watercolour of poppies signed ‘Del Little’ in the upper left and an oil study of poppies in a cream-coloured vase signed ‘W. Burgess’ to the lower right. A small decorative print features a central bouquet with a banner reading ‘POPPIES’. One framed work bears a handwritten paper label reading ‘6 Poppy Pictures (incl. oil + watercolour 1893)’.
