Lot 732: A contemporary light wood-effect four-drawer chest
A modern chest of four drawers of contemporary design. The piece is constructed from composite wood with a light wood-effect laminate finish, resembling maple or light oak in appearance. The chest features a simple rectangular form with four full-width drawers, each fitted with a modern, horizontal brushed-metal tubular bar handle. The unit stands on a simple plinth base. Internal drawer construction is not visible, though the external design is consistent with modern mass-produced furniture using mechanical fasteners. No maker’s marks, stamps, or labels indicating a manufacturer are visible on the exterior of the item.
Condition report:
The chest is in fair to good used condition. There is minor chipping and wear to the laminate finish along the bottom edges of the plinth base. The top surface is partially obscured by other items, preventing a full assessment of that area.
