Lot 949: A contemporary three-drawer bedside chest of laminate construction
This contemporary small chest of drawers is constructed from composite board finished with wood-effect laminates. The primary exterior finish is a medium-brown wood grain, while the three drawer fronts feature inset panels in a lighter, cream-toned birch-effect laminate. The drawers are of modern machine-made construction, likely joined with dowels or internal fixings, and the interiors are finished in a light wood-effect laminate. Each drawer is fitted with a curved, silver-toned metal pull handle featuring a decorative line of small circular perforations along its length. A small white rectangular sticker with the characters 949 is located on the top left front edge. No manufacturer marks, stamps, or labels are present. The items pictured inside the drawer are not part of this lot.
Condition report:
The chest is in generally good, used condition. There are minor signs of wear consistent with age, including a small chip on the top right-hand vertical edge of the frame and some light scuffing around the base. The laminate surfaces appear mostly intact.
