Lot 963: A Contemporary Black Leather Two-Seater Sofa
A contemporary two-seater sofa, also referred to as a loveseat, upholstered in black leather. The piece features a two-over-two cushion configuration. The back cushions are loose-filled and detailed with horizontal and vertical decorative stitching. The seat cushions are of a boxed design with three-panel decorative stitching. The sofa is fully upholstered with no visible frame wood. No maker’s marks or manufacturer labels are visible; a small white rectangular internal auction label is present on the right armrest.
Condition report:
The sofa is in used condition. The leather shows characteristic creasing and softening throughout, particularly on the seat and back cushions. There is visible surface wear and minor scuffing consistent with age and use, most notably on the top surfaces of the armrests. The back cushions appear somewhat compressed from use.
