Lot 605: A Collection of Vintage Breweriana and Barware comprising a Glenfiddich Whisky Jug, a PDM Guinness Ashtray, and a Set of 4 Babycham Glasses
This collection features an assortment of mid-20th-century British barware and advertising memorabilia. The lot includes a Glenfiddich Pure Malt Scotch Whisky water jug, finished in a black glaze with gold and white transfer printing. The jug depicts the distillery’s stag emblem and text detailing the brand’s history as an independent family company. Also present is a large circular Guinness ashtray manufactured by PDM in England. This piece is finished in a glossy black glaze with a gold Guinness harp logo situated in the centre and repeating gold brand lettering around the rim. The underside of the ashtray is marked with a red PDM stamp and handwritten characters reading 6/59. The collection is completed by a set of four Babycham champagne coupe glasses. Each glass is decorated with the characteristic transfer-printed fawn motif and a gold-gilded rim. The underside of each circular foot is printed with the brand name in light blue lettering.
