A varied collection of vintage earthenware and porcelain ceramics comprising decorative serving pieces, teaware, and dinnerware. The lot features a Royal Doulton Golfing seriesware jug of tapered form, decorated with transfer-printed scenes of figures in 17th-century dress on a golf course against a cream ground. The base of this jug bears the printed Royal Doulton lion and crown mark with pattern number D4719 and the number 15. Also included is a square-bodied Sadler teapot titled A Round of Golf, featuring historical golfing scenes and a green, blue, and yellow geometric lattice pattern to the shoulders and lid. The collection contains a large square Imari-style platter with scalloped edges, decorated with central peony and chrysanthemum sprays and a border containing peacocks in a traditional palette of cobalt blue, iron red, and gilt. Additional pieces include a circular bowl with a heavy flow blue transfer-printed floral and scroll pattern, multiple white porcelain teacups and saucers with gilded bamboo-style decoration, and dinner plates featuring blue wheat-ear and floral sprig borders. A small blue and white transfer-printed bowl with a central floral medallion and miscellaneous floral-patterned saucers are also present.
