Lot 417: A Trio of Decorative Ceramic Items comprising a Decoupage Amphora, an Italian Porcelain Vase, and a Stoneware Pitcher
This lot features three distinct decorative ceramic pieces. The first is a twin-handled earthenware amphora with a dark, high-gloss finish, decorated entirely in a decoupage technique using numerous small printed labels and paper ephemera under a heavy lacquer. The second is a mid-century porcelain vase of cylindrical form, featuring a scalloped rim and a short pedestal foot. The upper portion is decorated with a relief-moulded fabric swag finished in a pink glaze against a white ground. The base of this vase is marked with a black Karin London oval stamp, the printed text Fabriqué en Italie, and an incised model number 9/1A. The third item is a studio-style stoneware pitcher with a globular body, a wide flared spout, and a single loop handle, finished in a semi-matt brown glaze with incised wavy line decoration to the exterior.
