Lot 507: Ingrid Glashütte Mid-Century Modern Emerald Green and Clear Ice Glass Vase
An Ingrid Glashütte art glass vase of West German origin, dating to circa 1970. The vessel is constructed with a thick-walled body featuring a deep emerald green interior cased within a clear glass exterior. The outer surface is heavily textured with a moulded organic pattern often described as ice or bark glass, typical of the sculptural style of the period. The vase has an undulating rim and a solid, weighted base. The underside of the base bears a moulded circular mark featuring the IG logo for Ingrid Glashütte.
Condition report:
The vase is in good overall condition. There are no visible chips, cracks, or repairs. Minor surface wear and shelf scuffing are present on the base, consistent with age and use.
