Lot 520: Two Calligraphy Sets by Parker and Crelando
This lot comprises two distinct calligraphy sets, featuring a fountain pen system and a traditional dip pen stationery set. The first is a Parker calligraphy fountain pen set presented in its original embossed metal storage tin. The set includes a black plastic fountain pen with chrome-coloured trim and four interchangeable stainless steel nib units of varying widths designed for italic script. It features a cartridge filling system and includes several blue and red ink cartridges alongside a calligraphy instruction booklet. The brand name PARKER is embossed on the internal plastic tray. The second item is a Crelando calligraphy and stationery set contained within a book-style presentation box with an outer protective sleeve. This set features a dark wooden dip pen holder with five interchangeable gold-tone metal nibs, a small glass bottle of black ink, a wooden-handled wax seal stamp with a gold-tone head, and a stick of gold-coloured sealing wax. The set also includes a collection of cream-coloured writing paper and envelopes with a decorative leaf border, which remain in their original plastic wrapping. The Crelando box bears a white label for HCP Auctions South West, Lot 520.
Condition report:
The Parker set appears to be in good, used condition with minor surface wear to the metal tin and internal components. The Crelando set is in excellent, seemingly unused condition, with the stationery remaining sealed in its original protective film.
