Lot 818: A mid-20th century dark-stained hardwood low three-section open bookcase
A low three-section open bookcase, constructed from dark-stained hardwood. The piece features a rectangular top with a raised gallery moulding to three sides. The interior space is divided by two fixed vertical partitions into three equal open compartments. The unit is photographed positioned on its side; when correctly orientated, it is a low, horizontal shelving unit. Two contemporary auction labels are adhered to the top surface, including one for HCP Auctions South West, Lot 818, and a smaller handwritten label marked 1080. There are no identifiable maker’s marks or stamps present on the interior or exterior surfaces.
