Lot 962: George III style mahogany chest of drawers
A mahogany chest of drawers featuring a traditional two short over three long configuration. The rectangular top has a moulded edge above five graduated drawers, each finished with cockbeaded edges. The drawers are fitted with twin brass swan-neck handles on circular backplates and central inset brass escutcheons. The carcass is supported by four shaped bracket feet. The timber displays a warm medium-brown tone with matched grain patterns across the drawer fronts. A small white lot number sticker is affixed to the front of the top-left drawer.
