Lot 1083: A Vintage Black Metal Mobile Workstation / Computer Desk
A vintage black metal mobile workstation / computer desk. The piece is constructed with a black powder-coated steel frame and features a rectangular top surface finished with a dark faux-stone / marble-effect laminate. The workstation is equipped with a sliding keyboard tray positioned beneath the main surface, a large perforated metal lower utility shelf, and a vertical side-mounted media rack designed for the storage of CDs or DVDs. The entire unit is mounted on four swivelling plastic casters to facilitate mobility, with two of the casters featuring manual locking screw mechanisms. A small white rectangular adhesive label is attached to one of the upright frame supports, though the printed characters are not legible as a manufacturer’s name or brand.

Condition report:
The item is in used condition and shows visible signs of wear consistent with age and utility. The top surface is dusty and exhibits multiple light surface scratches and scuffs (photo 2). The black finish on the metal frame has minor areas of wear and light surface marks but remains largely intact (photo 1). The swivelling casters appear functional, and the sliding mechanism for the keyboard tray is present and appears intact (photo 1).
