Lot 1128: A Vintage Queen Anne Fashion Mahogany Side Table
A vintage mahogany side table in the Queen Anne fashion, featuring a circular top finished with segmented figured mahogany veneers under a high-gloss finish. The apron is fitted with a single drawer embellished with an ornate, openwork brass batwing-style drop handle. The piece is supported by four cabriole legs that terminate in traditional pad feet. A white rectangular adhesive label is affixed to the tabletop and side reading HCP Auctions South West Lot 1128, and a small round pink adhesive sticker on the tabletop displays a handwritten character resembling an 8. No manufacturer’s marks or stamps are visible.

Condition report:
The table is in good overall condition. The top surface exhibits several light scratches and minor abrasions consistent with use (photo 1). There is a small visible scuff or minor finish chip on the upper portion of one leg where it joins the apron (photo 2). The legs and pad feet show light scuffing around the base (photo 2). The brass hardware displays a natural aged patina.
