Lot 889: A Vintage Morphy Richards Mahogany-Effect Food Warming Cabinet
A vintage Morphy Richards mahogany-effect food warming cabinet, designed for domestic food service and entertaining. The unit features a black ceramic-glass top hotplate incorporating a circular heating zone to the left side, controlled by two red illuminated rocker switches located on the front edge. The mahogany-effect wooden body is constructed with a single decorative panelled door and a matching turned wooden knob. The unit is mounted on four black plastic casters for ease of mobility. The black front edge of the top plate bears the printed mark morphy richards in gold lowercase lettering. A white adhesive auction lot sticker with the number 889 is affixed to the top surface.

Condition report:
The ceramic-glass top plate shows significant surface dust, smudging, and visible signs of use (photo 1). The mahogany-effect finish on the cabinet door and sides displays minor surface wear and light scuffing, particularly along the lower edges (photo 1). Internal condition and mechanical functionality have not been tested.
