Lot 902: A Vintage Glass and Plastic Desktop Aquarium Starter Kit
A vintage glass and plastic desktop aquarium starter kit, featuring a rectangular clear glass tank with black plastic trim and a partial black lid. The unit is constructed from clear glass panes joined with silicone and framed by a black plastic base and upper rim. The interior contains various accessories, including a crumpled blue plastic bag and several black electrical cables. One cable is fitted with a black UK three-pin power adapter. A white adhesive label is applied to the upper surface of the lid, bearing the printed characters F913 over 902. The black electrical cabling is embossed with the markings VDE H03VVH2-F 2×0.75mm² ZHEJIANG.
Condition report:
The unit shows evidence of prior use with visible water spotting and mineral residue on the glass and interior components (photo 1). The included electrical cables and accessories are used and show signs of wear; these components are untested for functional condition (photo 2). The glass panes appear to be free of significant chips or cracks upon visual inspection.
