Lot 679: A William Grant's Scotch Whisky barrel-form spirit dispenser
A William Grant’s Scotch Whisky spirit dispenser of barrel form. The piece is constructed from wooden staves bound by two metal hoops and is mounted on a two-part wooden cradle stand. The recessed top head of the barrel is fitted with a black plastic pump-action dispensing mechanism featuring a curved spout. The side of the barrel is printed with a black brand logo consisting of the name William in script above Grant’s in bold script, with SCOTCH WHISKY in block capitals below, all contained within a stylised triangular border. The top head is printed around the perimeter with Wm GRANT & SONS GIRVAN SCOTLAND in block capitals, with the brand logo repeated in the centre. Two circular grey felt pads are attached to the underside of the base.
