A set of five circular fine bone china collector plates manufactured in England by Wedgwood. Each plate features a transfer-printed scene after artwork by Chris Howells, depicting idealised rural English village life in a bygone era, with thatched cottages, horse-drawn carts, and figures in period costume. The reverse of the plates bears a printed black backstamp. One visible mark reads 1991, Plate Number 2919M in the official limited edition of Early Morning Milk by Chris Howells, First issue in the series entitled Country Days depicting the life of a rural community in a bygone age. The text specifies they were Crafted in Wedgwood Fine Bone China by Josiah Wedgwood and Sons Limited, Barlaston, Stoke-on-Trent, England, in an edition limited to a maximum of 55 firing days, with BRADEX No. 26-W90-43.1. The manufacturer mark includes a silhouette of an urn above the words WEDGWOOD Bone China MADE IN ENGLAND. One plate is equipped with a wire wall-hanging attachment.
