Also present is a 1899 edition of Stalky & Co. by Rudyard Kipling, published by Macmillan and Co., London; this volume is bound in red leather with an ornate gilt-tooled spine and a circular gilt-stamped elephant head motif on the front cover, accompanied by a traditional swastika symbol. The collection further includes two volumes from the Shown to the Children series edited by Louey Chisholm: Butterflies and The Sea-Shore, both by Janet Harvey Kelman and Rev. Theodore Wood.
